Check out Iran-Finnish martial arts action film

Iranian-Finnish action film ‘Layers of Lies’ at the helm of stunt coordinator and actor/director Ramin Sohrab showcases martial arts.

The work-in-progress has participated at  Cannes Film Market – in co-operation with the Fantasia International Film Festival.

‘Layers of Lies’ follows firefighter Sam Kashani who gets involved in a hostage situation while evacuating a burning building in Tehran. Years later, the arsonist who set the fire and his business partner join forces to kidnap Sam’s wife and exact their revenge.

Ramin Sohrab directs the feature produced by Helsinki-based Sonram Productions.

The cast includes Iranian actors and thespians hailing from Finland such as  Anu Sinisalo and Antti Reini.

Ambassador of Finland to Iran Keijo Norvanto has voiced staunch support for the flick, a media report quoting film producer said.
